This place was awesome. I wish I wasn't so hungry and took a picture of my dish. I had the crispy basil duck hot. It was so yummy. Tender and crispy. The "special" sauce was excellent. I would definitely come back. This was the best duck I have had at a Thai restaurant.

First time trying Yum Nua and loved the flavors that's in it! Real thai dishes should include the 4S' flavors: sweet, salty, sour and spicy. These combinations pairs well with a Thai beer, Singha! The Dalmyo sushi roll was great, this will probably make me sleepy during my 1 hour drive back. Everyone was so friendly and I wish I can come back as a frequent customer.

Good Thai food at the Cape. Red curry with rice was excellent. Thai donuts were pretty good too.

This is my new favorite Thai place! Everything we ordered was on point. The fried tofu was hot, delicious & paired well with the peanut sauce. The shrimp pad Thai was full of flavor & not spicy. The volcano roll was SO GOOD! I love the contrast of the hot crab on top of the cold sushi roll. Their green tea ice cream was the best I've ever had. Cheesecake tempura with ice cream is a good dessert for sharing. I highly recommend Thai Thai Sushi Bar!

The food is mediocre at best, I have eaten here several times and it's just mehh. To be honest I struggle to find a good Thai place in Orlando. It was decorated nicely, although the outside looks a little shabby and dirty. I live extremely close, but never consider this place a real option when going out to eat anymore.

I've been going here since 2008. Had my first date with my fiance here. Had our first anniversary date here. Nothing fancy about this space - the food speaks for itself. It was my favorite place to go when I lived on the beach. Good sushi places are hard to come by - and when you find one unpretentious and consistent, all the better. Still searching for "my place" in Orlando area (since Oyaji closed). Wish they would reopen their Thai Thai in Winter Park, or better yet, Restaurant Row in Orlando..

Just had dinner this evening and everything including the service was perfect. My husband ordered the chicken pad thai and it's the best he had in a very long time. It wasn't too greasy or overpowered by heavy sauce. My daughter ordered sushi and tom yum soup and enjoyed that very much. I had the seafood noodle soup and asked for a side of beansprouts and basil and the server kindly brought it out with my meal. The soup had large scallops, shrimp and squid. They definitely did not skimp on any of it. We are very happy and just wanted to let our yelpers know that we appreciate good food and service when we get it. Thank you Salinee for giving us A+++ service. It makes a big difference and we will be back.

Food is fresh and clean. I eat here once a week. Looks like my tip is too short and Yelp wants more words so here you go: more words. This place is excellent, consistent and priced right. What more does Yelp want? Go here!

This place is awesome! We live in Orlando and we always complain about no good sushi places around us. I really hope Thai Thai opens up another location in Orlando...

What What that was soooooo good! I had Tom Yum Gai ( Thai soup) 1st time..Loved it ! Then we had three different Curries, Panang ,Red ,and Masaman. I loved all of them. My Red was spicier than the other two my husband liked the Masaman not spicy to me and our friend had the Panang which he requested mild and I thought it had a nice spicy touch. The service was good not super fast so get takeout if u r in a hurry We will b going back every time we are in town, can't wait to try the Sushi Everyone around us had different things and all seemed to be very happy and it was busy the whole time ( Monday night so call first if in a hurry)

Fantastic! I had a spicy tuna roll and tofu with garlic sauce. Both were excellent, especially for the reasonable prices. Will be back for sure!

Every time I come here the service is awful. I once came here and we sat for 20 minutes without even getting water. We got up and left. I don't understand all the great reviews. It's usually crowded and there are only one or two servers for a whole restaurant. Every time I come here I am disappointed.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Read reviews so we called ahead for reservation. Waited 30 minutes while the waitress talked to people and never cleaned the open table they said was reserved for us. Heading to Thai fuku. Review to follow. Thai Fuku had our table ready and the food was amazing. (Read my review) I think we dodged a bullet.

The menu was large with many options. The food was delicious. We had the spring rolls, veggies only, spicy tuna roll, and the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was outstanding. The service was great and the staff was friendly.

This place is amazing and reasonably priced. I love their Thai vegetarian, fried rice and my husband loves their Thai combination meat, fried rice. Their food is so delicious. I've lived in Manhattan, NY and San Jose, CA and this place is just as good, if not better, than any Thai restaurant I've tried. I'm not a huge fan of the atmosphere (although I can't pinpoint why), so we usually get our food to go. Give this place a try, you won't regret it!

This restaurant was a total HOME RUN!!! We shared summer rolls which were delicious. The entree we shared was a shrimp dish with vegetables. The shrimp were quite large and done perfectly. The sauce was tasty and hot and the vegetables were crisp. While we were there we noticed that the bar was packed with people eating sushi. When we asked our waiter about this he said it's like this most of the time. I will definitely come back so I can try more great dishes. The restaurant lacks in acknowledging you're standing at the door waiting to be seated. We finally had to ask someone and we were seated. That's really the only downside. Our waiter was great.

Had a dinner at this location based on Yelp reviews. Very disappointed at food quality, price, and service. 1. The service was extremely slow. We were seated over 15 minutes before an actress approached us for ordering. Then, it took another 15 to 20 minutes for our food to be served. During this period of time, no service at all. 2. For the price paid, I expected quality food, such as fresh fish for sushi and sashimi, or sufficiency quantity. However, the sushi and sashimi were terrible and not fresh at all. The rolls are thin and short. The pictures were looked good just because the chef cut all sushi into two pieces and packed them in a row. So, it looks like you were served 6 pieces of sushi, but you got only three pieces of sushi of tiny sizes. I also ordered a Thai dish for my wife. Well, it was too sweet to be a Thai dish. Do the chef really think that US customers eat only sweet food? 3. The prices were high. Well, it is at Florida and Cocoa beach. It is kind of understandable. However, the low quality and slow service made this place very undesirable. Therefore, I strongly do not recommend this location. Save your money and time. Treat yourself well with really good food.

We went for the sushi and got three different rolls. All were fresh and tasted great. The place is clean. Service was good and we'd definitely go back again.

After a day at Jetty Park, we were heading back down A1A to Melbourne. We were looking for someplace to eat, drove by Thai Thai III and decided to give it a try. We are glad we did! We ordered teriyaki chicken , pad lo mein, and the sashimi platter. We thought every dish was yummy! I'm not sure how "authentic" the Thai dishes are (they seem a little "Americanized") but they tasted great. The sushi was fresh and yummy too. We ate everything. The service was decent, considering how busy it was. When we left (around 7:30pm on a Saturday) there was a line out the door - the place seems very popular.

Great idea to have Sushi & Thai food. The perfect combo for my family. The Panang curry was good but too spicy for my daughter which was perfect for the hubby. Good sushi, our favorite was the dragon roll. I liked my Thai Iced tea too. I just did not like the location in the mini-mall. Good service too.

  • Chelsea B.

This sushi was so fresh it was ridiculous. Salmon was absolutely fantastic, as was hubby's fish. Chicken teriyaki for the kids was so good, I had to keep sneaking bites. Don't be put off by the strip-mall exterior - this is the freshest and best sushi we've ever had.

Love the variety of having THAI or SUSHI. Very delicious, fresh sushi near the port. I go every time I head to the beach to at least have sashimi appetizer!

Thai Thai, what happened? You use to be so reliable, so consistent, so money when it came to getting a good meal at a decent price. Back in the day, I was throwing you 5-star ratings at your Winter Park site and seemingly your biggest fan in the Orlando area. Since that site closed a while back and I don't get to the coast as often as before, its been a while since I ate in your establishment. I started out with such high hopes. Such anticipation for a your sushi rolls and sashimi. And boy was I disappointed :-(( The appetizer Summer Roll was extremely loosely wrapped and fell apart. The peanut sauce that came with it, I used to adore, but this time it was an oily sorta-peanut butter-like sauce. Yuck. The sushi rolls (Red Dragon and Beauty and the Beast) were ok, but not as great as I recall. The amount of fish in each was less than you are in other sushi restaurants. The salmon sashimi was the best of the bunch. Unfortunately, I didn't leave feeling like I got $50 worth of satisfaction or joy from the meal.... I will probably give you another shot on my next trip out and I hope my old faithful doesn't disappoint again...

I don't do the cooked food, but the sushi is da bomb. You can't go wrong, ever, sitting at the sushi bar. Nice staff, friendly, and quick service. Would have been 5 stars but I couldn't get a beer with my sushi (some forgot to pay the tax revenue bill......)

My favorite place for sushi!! I had the spicy tuna salad, and volcano tofu. Excellent play on the tongue But they lose two stars for service. We sat there for thirty mins before our order was taken. Waitress said she thought we placed our order, because she did not see our menus were on the table. Hello!! When you know what your ordering Menus go down. Sorry, next time we will wave them like flags!! :)). But food is great!!

Ok. Not great. Fried spring rolls were lacking in my opinion. Salad which comes with Entree is drowned in salad dressing. Rest of meal was mediocre.

Some things here are good but its clear that some are not. I was here a long time ago and had the lobster pad thai and remembered it was really good so I wanted to go again while I was in the area. Unfortunately this visit was not as good as the last one. It was around 12pm and the place was packed and our waitress was in quite the mood. I had a Thai iced tea, which is the perfect amount of tea and cream here. We had soup that came with the lunch meals, miso for the bento boxes and hot and sour for the thai dishes. I unfortunately ordered the mango yellow curry. With 3 pieces of chicken and 2 shrimp. It was mostly vegetables that were NOT listed in its description on the menu, and no mango. I really should have sent it back and got the lobster pad thai instead. On top of it the curry had NO spice whatsoever and she never asked how we wanted it. She did bring out an assortment of spices to add heat though to my dish when asked. I assume yellow curry is going to have some spice to it. I will never order it again there and I suggest if you like real thai curry and want to eat more than just peppers to not bother with their curry. However as far as the rest of the meals and I didn't order they were great. My mom got the lobster pad thai which for 9.95 they give you a TON of lobster, big chunks in it and its really good. The chicken teriyaki bento boxes were good as well even though a bit pricy for a lunch (12.95), they include a lot of sushi. The sushi fish is great and fresh but the rice is weirdly sweet.

Sushi was great. Service was terrible. The sushi chef appeared to be mad at the world. We complimented his sushi thinking maybe it would warm him up but forget about it. We then waited and waited for plates to be cleared as we ate rolls. We were running out of room so we tried to give a plate to the sushi chef and he said "no" and leave it. We just landed and are exhausted. We saw the 4 stars for this place on yelp and thought some sushi would be nice. Well...I'm here for two weeks for work and won't be coming back no matter how much I enjoyed the food. I have zero tolerance for poor service and even less for bad attitudes.

Absolutely outstanding Thai food in Cape Canaveral. I've eaten at the two Thai Thai locations in Melbourne and they are outstanding as well. This trip I had the chicken pad thai and it was amazing. Watch out, this place is packed on the weekend. I recommend it highly. Oh, and they also have a location in Cocoa Village.

We ordered take-out one night while we were on vacation in Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach. With that said, I am from Houston, TX and I LOVE Thai food, and this place was some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Like Houston, there seemed to be a large Asian population in the Cape Canaveral area. Fine by me, because this place delivered! I always get Pad Thai on my first trip to a Thai restaurant, as it is kinda my gauge for the rest of the menu, and this Pad Thai was DIVINE. I LOVED it. We ordered 4 fresh shrimp spring rolls, and while pricey, these were the best I've had. My whole family agreed that these rolls were something special. Super fresh, crisp and light. The multiple dipping sauces were great, too. We also shared the lobster fried rice and the cashew chicken. Lobster fried rice may just be the greatest idea ever. Being from Texas, we ordered everything spicy, and the spice level was just perfect. While on vacation, we ate at many restaurants in Disney and the Cocoa Beach area, and this was the best food I ate the whole trip. Now that I am back home, I am going to crave the spring rolls and lobster fried rice from this place.

To steal a quote from the late Tony the Tiger "GRRRRRRREEAAAAT!". No but seriously, haha. We were pleasantly surprised to find how delicious this place was. I had planned to visit after reading several good yelp reviews (Yelp saves the day again). You may ask how can a place do both Japanese and Thai and still thrive? I don't have the answer to your question....but Thai Thai does! I had the pad thai bento box with the spring roll appetizer w/ Peanut Sauce. Delicious all around. There were 7 of us there and each and every person was happy with the variations of sushi and Thai food that they ordered. If you are in the Cocoa Beach/Port Canaveral area you must go. We went during lunch so the prices were great and I am glad we found this gem. Will be back!

We went here for dinner one night when we were in town before our cruise. We loved it and we will definitely be back the next time we cruise. We are used to high priced small rolls (6 pcs) living in the Chicago area. We got here and were happy with the prices and ordered our usual number of rolls - we were amazed at the size of the rolls -- all were at least 8pcs of high quality rolls. We also ordered some Thai food for our daughter and she enjoyed it (Pad Thai) -- she also ate four pieces of tuna sushi... We all left stuffed and ready to lapse into a food coma....and our wallet was still surprisingly full, too!

Im from OKC - I am very Leary about eating on the road like I have to - so I depend on YELP and yes you fellow reviewers keep coming though. My wife and I really enjoyed this place. We are vegetarians and Thai Thai did a wonderful tasty treat for us. Their vegetarian Sushi made my taste buds dance for joy! Just wish we had more chances to get back to that area - we would eat there again!!

This was my second time eating at Thai Thai and I must say that I am a fan. Thai Thai is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner after spending a day at Cocoa Beach. First time I was there, I had the Thai-thai Chicken. It's described as "flaming chicken," served with vegetables and rice... but don't be fooled by the "flaming" description. It was not spicy at all. It's served in a sweet, Teriyaki-like sauce. It was de-li-ci-ous! Yesterday, I ate there for lunch and was even more impressed! They have a great lunch menu. For less than $10 you can get a full, delicious meal. They have their Thai lunch specials as well as some sushi "bento box" type things. I had the Ginger chicken and it was amazing! $7.95 got me a plate of chicken, veggies, and rice. The chicken was tender and tasty - cooked with carrots, scallions, peppers, onions, and slivers of fresh ginger. It was served with white rice and a spring roll. It also included miso soup! My friend had the Lobster Pad Thai for $9.95 and had so much food that she brought some home! I am fully impressed with Thai Thai's service! The servers were attentive and the food came out quickly. I plan on heading here anytime I'm in the Cocoa area and I'm determined to try to sushi next time!

I love the Thai Thai restaurant chain but this is probably the best of the four. Their green curry is one of my favorites and their appetizers are awesome. I love the Brother Roll and Chicken Satay. Most of their sushi is pretty good but I tend to gravitate toward the Thai dishes. The Garlic fish is delicious and so are the Tom Yum soups. This is one of those great places where you could just close your eyes and point. Whatever you choose will be delicious. Their Pad Thai is also the ultimate hangover cure. Get some to go!

I've lived in Merritt Island (across the river from Cape Canaveral) for seven years. Thai Thai remains my favorite restaurant in the entire county. I've had sushi all across the United States, Central and South America. Nothing comes close to Thai Thai's in freshness, texture and presentation. I daresay you'd need to go to Japan to top it. The head sushi chef at the Cape Canaveral location, Jose, has been making sushi for years, and was professionally trained by a Japanese instructor in Miami. Just in case you have any doubts about his credibility, ask to see his favorite knife, which he's been using since he started his career. What used to be two inches tall has been sharpened over the years to just a sliver of metal. For sushi rolls, if you like tempura, go for the Super Crunch or Sushi Bomb. If raw fish isn't your thing, try the Dragon Roll (it's fried shrimp). Dancing Eel for those of you who like smoky, delicate meat with crisp edges that melts in your mouth. My personal favorite is the Fire Dragon. If you're going full-on Japan and want sashimi, the best selections of fish are tuna, salmon and cobia. I had a friend who hated sushi. I made him try the cobia, and now he orders it every time. And the Thai food, oh, the Thai food. The balance of flavors is exquisite. The texture of the fried tofu is exactly as it should be. The from-scratch ginger dressing has never disappointed. The soups are authentic (try the Tom Kha). The curries are divine, all the way up to Thai hot. The range of dishes and sauces will give you something new to try even if you go every day (the menu is 1/4 inch thick). If you hit up Thai Thai for lunch, have a bento box and sample everything. Still don't believe me? How about this: 1) Whenever friends or family come to visit from outside the country, we head straight to Thai Thai from the airport. 2) I once ran into a pilot at the sushi bar who flies between California and Florida. He makes the hour drive from the airport whenever he's in Orlando, because it's better than anything he can find in California. 3) I've taken friends FROM JAPAN to this restaurant. Their verdict? No, it's not Japanese. But it's the closest you'll come in the States.

Service: 5 Decor: 3 Food: 5 The food pushes the decor score out of the way. We had the tuna tamaki appetizer. It was delicate and very good. Also the fresh spring rolls which were a nice way to start the meal. Not too filling but got us ready to eat. Wife had the Pad Thai which she really liked. I had the Green Curry "Thai Hot" and it was the perfect balance of heat and flavor. We drank hot green tea throughout the meal and finished with green tea ice cream. No complaints from us here. Next time we are in town we will definitely consider coming back. If you like Thai food, go.

What frustrating service. We were travelling and didn't want a wait, so I called and made reservations. When I arrived, twice we were greeted, told them we had reservations, and the staff walked away from us. They then greeted parties of identical size behind us and immediately seated them. I complained after the second occurrence of this, but was ignored again so we left in frustration.

The slices of fish in the sushi were miniscule. Tom yum was served cold. Two stars is for the good service.

This is the place that really got me hooked on sushi. The problem is that it is hard to have sushi anywhere else because it never comes close to Thai Thai. I usually go for lunch and try to get there before noon to beat the crowds. My only complaint is the small space and they sometimes sit you so close to other patrons that you feel like your having lunch with strangers. Perhaps that's what they are trying to do bring us all together over sushi......

In the great words of Guy Fieri from diners, drive ins and dives, "This place is Money" !!!! This is as good as it gets folks... If you want fresh sushi that melts in your mouth do yourself and favor and stop here... it's worth every dime. Enjoy and stay hungry...

We live nearby. We eat, or get take-out all the time. WHAT A GODSEND. It's pricey, but we love the food. If we're lazy, they're the ones we get take-out from. If we're celebrating, we eat here and buy the big boats. If we feel like a dinner out...yup, we'll go here. Sure, not ALL the time, but when we want great food on short notice...they're here.

  • Mike J.

Went again last week with 6 other people. We had two boats. That gave us boatloads of sushi and sashimi and other stuff. Poopsie had the Thai food again. The eel was excellent and was the standout this time.

Honestly, didn't know what to expect here. I really ended up enjoying it. From the outside, it's a nice looking shopping strip -- but inside it's a funky colorful place that serves some really top notch thai food. I ate the pad see eauw which was tasty. I had them kick it up a notch and go medium spicy on it and I'm glad I did. Otherwise, I'm afraid it would come out aggressively bland. One tip though -- the a/c was blasting. Make sure to bring some long sleeves or pants with you so you don't freeze...or just order spicy spicy food and heat up from the inside out. ;)

  • Ginger W.

This place was surprising in a few ways. For something with such stellar reviews, I have to say I expected a bit more from them. The prices were very high and the whole ambiance of the place was a little lacking (not the sort of place I'd order raw seafood if I had just walked in off the street). When we ordered sodas, we were given semi-cool cans of soda, had to ask for ice in a glass. That was a little strange. That said, the tom yum gai and seafood curry I ordered was flipping amazing. Incredibly fresh and well seasoned. The seafood was absolutely delicious and well cooked. The S.O ordered the sushi and said it was ok, he wasn't particularly blown away. After that we bailed, because the bill for this place is definitely high. Even though you do get a good portion of food, its a pricey event. We might go back, but only if someone is from out of town or its a date night. This isn't a typical weeknight restaurant.

    (4)
  • Chris L.

We went there because the place we plan to go (Yen-Yen) is closed (on Monday). It turns out was not bad at all. We sit for a long time because any waiter pick up our tables. Finnaly a waiter told us he will serve us and he took our order and service was good after that point. We only order Thai food since we had enough Janpanese during this trip. The food were good (as good as hsown on the picture from the menu). For 4 of us, the bill come out over $100 (including tips without drink). It's a little pricy but we did enjoy our dinner over there.

    (4)
  • Joe K.

The food I ordered here was fresh, and it tasted good. BUT they cut up each piece of sushi into two bite sized pieces. Why do they butcher the sushi like that? For that one reason, I do not believe I will be back to this place.

    (3)
  • Dave J.

Given that this place is the highest rated "Thai Japanese" place in Cocoa Beach, I was expecting a lot. Unfortunately, after coming here twice I've found both the Thai and the Japanese to be only mediocre. That being said, it looks like everyone loves the Pad Thai (I had the Pad See Eew), so maybe I need to try again. I will say that I ordered one of the sushi specials (you know, the kind that comes on the boat), and the rice was much too sweet for my taste and the fish was decent, but nothing to yelp about. I'll save my fish cravings for when I'm on the West Coast.

Great Thai food, delicious Sushi. Some of the best sushi I've had in Florida. Just be careful how much you order, the bill can quickly rise! 3 people were both over $100 each time I went. One night that I went we could see, hear, and even feel a shuttle taking off from Cape Canaveral. Great ambiance and friendly service as well.

Great sushi for the area. Pad Thai is exemplary! Slightly overpriced dinner menu, but worth it for the product. The green salad with mango Ginger dressing is simply great! They also have a nice ambiance and very courteous and prompt staff on my several visits.

Compared to the one on Wickham Rd in Melbourne, this one lacks on customer service and the food ok but can get much better. Seating was bad. They have benches which are horrible for elderly and those with bad backs.

This was a pleasant alternative to the pizza and fast food joints near the Radisson Resort. We were in town for the evening before a cruise and ventured out to find some grub. Didn't want to drive and this was perfect as it was only across the street from the hotel. The menu here is huge. There are 2-3 pages devoted to thai cuisine. A large selection of different pad thai, curries, soups and such, and there were another 3-4 pages for sushi. A lot of different sushi and roll combinations to choose from, as well as prepared entrees from the kitchen. We had three in our group, and decided on the Mori combo B. It came with 8 pieces of california roll, a tuna roll, 12 pieces of tuna/salmon/whitefish/unagi sushi (even though the menu only lists 7 pieces). We also ordered a tornado roll (assorted fish over spicy tuna roll), and the picky kid wanted 2 pieces of masago. Although service was a tad slow in getting our drinks and taking our orders, the food came out quickly, and soon we were happily eating away. I have to agree that the fish was extremely fresh, and the white tuna was melt in your mouth delicious. The kid's masago (or flying fish roe) was only one piece per order, but it was a very generous portion. Everything tasted good and was presented very attractively. The menu is large and diverse enough to find something for everyone, and the prices were on par with the area. Actually, for the amount of sushi and rolls we ordered, we left full and satisfied for just over 40 bucks. A great deal, a great meal, and I'll take sushi over pizza any day of the week.

Coming from the Northeast, I was quite surprised to see the Thai and Sushi combination that is abudndant in Florida. In the Northeast, it's usually korean and sushi. We were quite surprised to see the wide range of dishes available from a small place like this. We were even more surprised when everything tasted great. There aren't many good restaurants in the area so this place is a great find. We had sashimi (salmon, tuna, and escarole) for appetizers and a thai dish each. I had the deep fried spicy shrimp. Crunchy. I liked it. You could easily miss this place from the road so keep your eyes open.

I used to travel to KSC quite often. In fact, I've spent several weeks "living" in the Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral area. Whenever I'm on one of these trips, eating out alone is inevitable. I learned early on that a sushi bar is a great place for one-person dining. Watching the sushi chefs at work keep you plenty entertained as you wait and as you eat your meal. Luckily, I stumbled on Thai Thai during my first of these trips to the Cape. It's location on Astronaut Blvd is convenient to anyone staying in the area, and the parking lot is big enough to accomodate customers. I always thought that the prices were reasonable (not that I was overly concerned, being on per diem and all). While these things are nice, they are not the reason I come back to this place several times per trip. This is hands down the freshest sushi I have ever had. EVer! I thought I liked spicy tuna rolls before I tried these. Turns out, I LOVE spicy tuna rolls - as long as they are from Thai Thai, that is. The dragon roll is another one of my favs. I've even tried some of the dishes off their Thai menu, and I loved them. The staff is very accomodating as well. The waitresses usually remember me before the end of my trip, and the sushi chefs would send over extra treats for me to sample. I don't travel here much anymore, but I have recommended this place to co-workers before they head to KSC, and all of them have been pleased. I'll be in the area next summer for vacation, and I am already hoping we have a chance to stop by for a meal!

I only ate sushi from this place. It was terrible. Every roll tasted the same. No flavor from anything in the rolls. It was as if I bought it from Publix. I will go elsewhere for sushi.

We were on vacation in Cocoa Beach and were looking for Asian cuisine. After noticing that a number of places featured Thai and Japanese combined menus, we decided to give this place a try after scanning the menu online. Our trip was at high noon lunchtime on a Monday. Although it looked like we might have to wait to be seated by some people congregated outside, we were surprised upon entering that the place had capacity. Our party of 5 was seated promptly. Despite a somewhat dry, military-like young male waiter, we were able to order in a reasonable amount of time. Our lunches came with a choice of salad or two possible soups: miso and eggdrop. A couple of us selected the eggdrop due to it's non-standard appeal and it was outstanding with a rich texture/flavor and some cruchy wonton bits as topping that really enhanced the mouth-time. The salad and miso choices were reported as good. For our lunch choices, we had the Lobster Pad Thai (excellent), a custom Mango Yellow curry with fish and tofu (wonderful), Garlic fried fish (tasty) and a Sushi Combo. The notable thing about the Sushi Combo was that not only was it of good quality, but it was a great deal due to the quantity. Notwithstanding others' opinion of the service at Thai Thai 3, if you are looking for good Thai/Japanese food away from your hometown, I don't think you will be disappointed here. In fact, you might even eat here more than once if you are in town for multiple days (we will). Note: although this restaurant appears to have a few locations, this review applies only to this location.

A real popular lunch spot located on the floor of an old, pink, two-story office building. I've been here a couple of times and there is usually very few seats left in the dining room or the sushi bar. 3 words. Yellow Mango Curry. So delicious, with the just the right amount of spice for my weak palate. Comes with soup of the day, a spring roll, and a hefty portion of sticky rice for just $8.95. The only thing that keeps me from describing it as "As good as it gets" is that the service has been a bit aloof. My last visit included being shoved out of the way as a hot plate was delivered to the table without so much as an "excuse me." But, with that being said, I'm still a fan.

I ordered the tom yum soup with tofu and my friend ordered it with chicken. They did not ask how spicy we wanted it and we forgot to ask. Overall, the broth was flavorful but oily and not overly spicy. The vegetables however were cut into huge chunks which made it difficult to eat. I've had much better tum yum soup before so would not recommend this one for the price.

This place came recommended to us by our bartender at the Hilton. I have to say, I wasn't really impressed. There were 10 of us there, and although the service was great, that's about the only thing we walked out of there liking. I had the pad thai, which was okay, but nothing special. I also shared a salmon roll with a girlfriend was was really disappointed with the size of the fish, especially considering what we paid for it. Pretty much the same story for all 10 of us - small portions, high prices, meh food.

Been coming here for about 4 years. They have a great lunch special (about $8.00), which is not bad for a fresh sushi lunch. The dinner prices almost double in $$ though, but not exactly outrageous for a sushi dinner anywhere else. I like to sit at the bar and chat with the guys preparing the sushi. Its cool to watch them cut and dice different fish while making the rolls or sashimi. I usually get the lunch special with the spicy tuna roll and Chicken Teriyaki on the side. Perfect for a fairly lite fresh lunch.

Had dinner at Thai Thai when I arrived in town and it was excellent. I had the spicy tuna roll and some salmon sashimi and it was very fresh. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend it if in the area. I plan to go back.

We dropped in at this place while staying in cocoa beach for a few days and I gotta say, there isn't really anything special about it. I mean, sure, it's pretty good, but nothing about it really stands out, except, maybe, the prices. Everything seemed really over priced for what you were getting. I've been to many-a-sushi bar that were of equal or greater quality and were $2-3 cheaper per roll. To add to this, our server kinda sucked too. I might go back if it weren't for the high prices.

Really great sushi and thai. My family loves this place. My guy's favorite roll is the Thai Thai III roll. It's expensive but really good, with Tempura Shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, and I don't know what else...very good. One roll is definitely enough for a meal, or maybe that and some miso soup. I always order something different, with so many choices I'm steadily working my way through their menu. Excellent miso soup, and seaweed salad. If you like raw sushi or sashimi, this is the place to order it...everything is super fresh! My 10 year old son always orders the Thai fried rice with pork (this is soooo good but I try to eat healthier than that, or else I'd be right there with him every time. We frequent this restaurant, our family feels it is the best in the area. Only problem is it gets very busy and the service is a little slow. As an added plus they have cute Sushi chefs for the ladies to look at. ;-)

Hellllooooo fellow yelpers! Back at it again, traveling the world and leaving reviews behind. I went to this Thai restaurant with my aunt when my cruise ship made a stop is Port Canaveral, FL. If you don't want to read the whole review, then just know that the food was AMAZING! I loved every bit of it. My aunt ordered a Pad Thai dish which looked good but I didn't try it. I ordered the Mango Yellow Curry.... All I have to say is that I made eating fast look cute. The mango yellow curry came with shrimp and some vegetables in it, with white rice. I wanted to give into my greedy side and order another plate of it but since I'm on a diet... (Yea right, I was just trying to be cute) I didn't. When I go to another Thai restaurant here in NY, I'm going to look for that dish because it was so good. When I looked at the bill, it came out to less than $30 which I found to be excellent. I had a great experience at this restaurant. The waiter and waitress was very knowledgably of their dishes and I would definitely visit again.

In Cape Canaveral to catch a cruise ship in the morning...checked out Yelp.com to find a good local restaurant for dinner and Thai Thai kept coming up, so we decided to go. Sooooo glad we did! The veggie roll was absolutely lovely and the avocado was probably the freshest I have ever tasted - I saved it for my "dessert!" My son had the spicy tuna roll - his favorite - and he said it was the best he's EVER had. We're already looking forward to going there for lunch when our cruise ship returns!! If you're in the mood for FRESH sushi in a clean environment, try Thai Thai. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. We sat at the sushi bar and got some free entertainment as well!!

I was driving down to the port from Jacksonville to get on the boat the next day. Well, all the way down I had a taste for coconut curry chicken and rice noodles. I was getting to the hotel in the evening so I was afraid to venture too far out from the hotel. I pulled into the hotel and I saw the name; Thai Thai. I got so excited. I went in and got the curry chicken with coconut milk with rice noodles and sushi and brought it back to the room. Oh...I loved it! I am actually going down tonight and will be stopping by there to get my new favorite dishes. I can't wait!

I have to admit I was a little unsure of a place that offers both Thai and Japanese together but I was mistaken; this place is good. We went for lunch and had Thai dishes but all the Sushi dishes being served around us looked fresh and well done. Red Curry, Lobster Pad Thai, and Chicken Satay were all really good. Our starter soup of the day was delicious too. Place was packed for lunch- wait staff were attentive but not that friendly. Food more than made up for the grumpy waitress.

You know how when you go to NYC or San Fran to visit friends and they talk about about how their respective city has the best Sushi in the country? Ask them why? Are they close to a major fishing port? Multiple tributaries? A Gulf? Rivers? They will try and spin something to make you feel like YOU don't know what your talking about but the simple fact is these cities wouldn't know Sushi like this if it was dating their mothers. Thai Thai sits on the central florida coast, which is within 2 hours from the Gulf of Mexico, Lake Okeechobee, the warm waters of the Caribbean and the temperate and cold waters of the Mid Atlantic. Across the street is the salt water Banana River and a few miles away is the fresh water Indian River. The reason I am giving you this incredibly boring and seemingly pointless geography lesson is to make the point that Thai Thai sits in the middle of a mecca for different types of fish. EVERTHING here is straight off the boat, including some of the staff I think! Service is decent but I recommend sitting at the bar and watching Jose prepare the fish. If your wondering how you are going to tell who Jose is, look for the mexican Arnold Schwarzenegger. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and even though this place is packed during lunch ( I am pretty sure it's mandated that everyone in the space industry eats here at least once a week (United Space Alliance is actually next door)) and dinner the staff is great about getting people seated super quick. They also have a great selection of Japanese beers. The only detractor I would say is the outside. The flamingo colored office building it's housed on the first floor of looks like a place where Donnie Brasco would meet his FBI handlers at to unload taped conversations of low level mobsters. A final plus would also have to be it's attraction to high level NASA officials who frequent the spot daily. If your a contractor or are looking for a little face time "by accident" you may want to stroll in with a smile and a marketing packet between 11:30am and 1pm. Also Thai Thai closes every day for about two hours. I believe it's from 2-2:30pm to 4pm so plan accordingly.

Food was good. Good people. Polite and well mannered. Kinda pricey side. Example: Item A cost 15.95 when it costs me in Los Angeles 6.95. Well, guess I am not in LA am I? So other than that, great place.

Read all the views and had to try it out myself. Ordered the cashew nut entree with Tofu and brown rice to go. Plentiful portion enough for leftovers. Very tasty and fresh. Would definitely go back next time in Cocoa beach. Their sushi selections looked awesome especially when delivered to other tables during my short wait. That's for my return trip.

Horrifying service. I placed an order at 11a.m. and it's now 12:48p.m.! I called and asked for my food and the manager argued with me saying "we don't send out our orders until we have multiple orders in that area." He refused to discount our food ad refused to send them now. He insisted we wait. what a horrible way of doing business. Next time i'll go elsewhere.

Food was good, but 10 minutes to get greeted at the door, 20 to get our order taken and another 30 to finally get food. The food couldn't have been good enough to overcome the lousy service. Won't be back.

The first time I ordered take out from here. When I got in to pick up my food, they had jacked up the price they quoted when I called and it took forever for me to get my food, even though they had pointed to my bag on the counter and said it was mine. The gentleman that took my card disappearded into the back for nearly 10 minutes. I was about to open my carry out boxes right there on the counter and start eating. The second time, I sat at the sushi bar, to which the sushi chefs were moderately friendly althought clearly busy busting out orders. The waitress was so bad, it took her 5 minutes to seat us to which she only said "seat yourselves". She didn't bring our water for 20 minutes, we had to bother the sushi chef to get her off her lazy ass to do anything. The entire time we could see her in the back, sitting down in front of a television stuffing her face( probably with out food, as long as it took to come up). After nearly 45 minutes she literally pops up directly behind us with a notepad in hand, ready to take our orders. Naturally we didn't see her there for a second and it came as a bit of a surprise. We told her we'd be out front smoking a cigarette while we waited and after nearly 20 minutes, she popped her head outside and told us that our food had BEEN ready. Thanks for the heads up, lady! It took forever for the check and unfortunatly I didn't have cash or I would have skipped her tip altogether and paid the awesome sushi staff. I went as far as to separate the total of my tip on the bottom of the check so that the sushi chefs would be fairly compensated but she would only end up with a single cent, because thats exactly how much her piss poor service was worth to me. In short, sit at the sushi bar when you go, that way you can somewhat ignore the terrible service, or try and get a different service, you'll know this lady because she's the shortest one there, older, doesn't speak very much english where the whole staff does. Bad service, awesome food!

This restaurant was SO loud we almost left. We could not converse at all and it gave me a headache. The food was passable but one person had to send her dinner back it was overcooked noodles and they just turned to mush. Sad.

Great sushi and Thai food! We came for dinner planning to just to get Thai food, but the sushi looked so good we decided to get a spicy tuna roll as an appetizer. It was very good. For entrees we got the pad Thai and massamon curry with tofu. They were both very good, the tofu in the massamon isn't fried unless you request it. The only negative was they charge for extra rice. Not sure how that little bowl of rice is supposed to be enough for the huge bowl of curry.

YUM!! Thai Thai has and amazing variety of fresh and delicious sushi, entrees, sides, and drinks! It gets loud on a busy night, but I cannot wait to go back. Going to Thai Thai is a small consolation for having my best friend move to Cocoa Beach, but it gives me even more incentive to head back for a visit. In the 4 days that I spent in Cocoa Beach, we ate at Thai Thai twice. I hear the Thai and Japanese food is also excellent, but I ate so much sushi, I didn't have time to notice. My tummy is happy just thinking about Thai Thai!

Thai Thai is hands down, one of the best sushi places I have been to in my life. Sushi has been one of my favorite foods for a long time and it has always been difficult to find a place that is relatively inexpensive, yet still high quality. Even when I went to Japan, some of the sushi I enjoyed wasn't up to par with Thai Thai. I love this place!

We spent a night at Cape Canaveral before we boarded the Disney Dream cruise so we were looking for something good to eat. We live in New York so we didn't expect much since Thai food in New York are the most authentic. We ordered Tom Kha Gai, which was outright bad. I felt like I was eating thick coconut soup with chicken. The shrimp fried rice was good. Fresh and big shrimps. The sushi rolls were great. I was kind of hesitant to order Japanese food in a Thai restaurant, but it turned out that Japanese food was better than the Thai food and their name is Thai Thai. I also found out later that most of the Japanese restaurant are owned by Thais, therefore you won't find authentic Japanese sushi like the ones in New York. What you will find are these fancy rolls called "Pink Lady " "Dynamite" , which tasted great, but I tried to avoid the ones with cream cheese. If I ever come here again, I would order the Jap. food, not Thai food. The Jap. food not is over priced, but the Thai food is.

Been back to Cocoa on business a few times since my original review, and I still always make at least one stop in Thai Thai. It's not terrible expensive, the quality of the seafood is still really great, and though I usually stick with Japanese entrees and/or sushi, other people I have eaten with have been equally as pleased with their Thai and Chinese choices. The curry is great! and I had the conch on this last trip, also good and a treat for me since they don't have it anywhere in Texas, ha ha. The place is usually jumping by the time I make it there for dinner, so I usually have to wait for a table or grab a spot at the sushi bar, but that's evidence of how good it is! They also have a TINY parking lot, I don't care what anyone says - it's just barely adequate for their customers, so don't be surprised if there's not a space to be had. Just circle the block a few times, someone will come out soon enough thanks to their fast service. It's worth it. Not sure if they take reservations, but if you have more than 4 people you may want to call and see....

I am a vegetarian, so am a bit of a snob when it comes to veggie dishes and tofu dishes. I asked for a suggestion from the waiter. The waiter, who was efficient and prompt, offered up a ginger dish to which I could add tofu and veggies. It was an awesome dish with very fresh and perfectly cooked veggies but could have been infinitely improved if it had 1/2 the onions and if the tofu wasn't fried. I preceded my meal with a salad that was lackluster with a bottled ginger dressing. My two sons had fresh and excellent sushi. Atmosphere is casual and clean. For the price, I would go back for sure.

Great sushi! There are plenty of people who say Thai and Japanese don't belong together, but personally, I like being able to have a bit of both at one restaurant. I have had better Thai dishes before, so I usually stick to the sushi, but many of my family members and friends who don't enjoy sushi just love the Thai food. I think it really depends on the individual menu item that you order. The restaurant is small and cramped, which detracts slightly from the great food quality, but you can get over it when you start digging into the sushi.

  • Richard S.

The reason I was never a fan of Pad Thai at Thai Thai is that I found it to greasy. I found out you can order Pad Thai with less/light oil. I thus would recommend Lobster Pad Thai as a lunch item.. (Just $2.00 more than Pad Thai chicken.. when ordered at lunch.) The Mango Yellow curry is menu star that I previously overlooked. This one too is a much better value at lunch. I now switch off between Mango Curry with white rice and Red Curry with brown rice. Thai Thai is easily the best Curry in the Space coast, and one of the best in all of Florida.

I was greatly impressed by the quality meal I had here. The spicy tuna roll was simply excellent--best I've ever had, bar none. The pad thai was serviceable, but I've had much better. However, if you're in the mood for sushi, this is the place for you!

This is my absolute favorite sushi place! The sushi quality is outstanding and the prices are good! For lunch you can get a big sushi combo for $12-15 which will more than fill you up. The staff is really friendly and its a cozy little place. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral area!
